Australian Warehouse Robotics Startup Nexobot Raised $40,000 from Antler and Skalata

Nexobot, a warehouse robotics firm, has obtained $400,000 in pre-Seed funding from Skalata and Antler to provide smaller merchants with affordable order fulfillment robotic solutions.
According to the sources, Nexobot wants to assist smaller companies in competing with larger companies, such as Amazon, that have the capacity to implement multimillion-dollar fulfillment systems.

Started in 2023, operating under the names of Dom Lindsay and Nicholas Hunt, the company employs 3D printing to offer robots to be used in “micro-fulfillment” applications, which can be scaled up or customized according to the specifications of a business. According to Hunt, most automated package sorting systems are expensive and take months to implement. Additionally, they might only be accessible under long-term contracts and necessitate sophisticated local networking.

He claimed that Nexobot was assisting local, smaller warehouses in increasing their volume by 20–30% while lowering labor expenses and inefficiencies brought on by human mistake.
Skalata Ventures’s investment notes state that Nexobot has only just been accepted into Swinburne’s Elevate accelerator program and will focus soon on secondary markets.

With our innovative and cost-effective robotic sorting systems, we are revolutionizing the industry of distribution and warehousing. Having been established in 2023, our mission is to make companies, big or small, more productive by making process operations smoother and ensuring that high-end sorting technology comes at a fraction of the cost of conventional solutions.

With the state-of-the-art technology in 3D printing and a proprietary package removal system, the company has created a robust and reliable robot that lowers entry barriers significantly in warehouse automation.

The company designed its innovative Nexobot system precisely to meet the burgeoning requirements of the transport and warehousing industry. The cutting-edge robot handles the seamless and headache-free task of moving under a barrier and sorting bags into their respective bins speedily. This forward-looking start-up is committed to continuous development and strives for excellence in goods as well as customer service.

With Nexobot’s accessible, high-performance robots, it is assured that its needs will be met and that companies will be empowered to maximize their productivity and prosper in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
